Stop Campus Hazing Act Reports

The Stop Campus Hazing Act (SCHA) significantly enhances transparency and accountability regarding hazing incidents on college campuses receiving federal funding. This legislation mandates two distinct public reports, ensuring comprehensive disclosure of hazing-related information.

Campus Hazing Transparency Report (CHTR)

The SCHA requires the publication of a dedicated Campus Hazing Transparency Report. This report provides detailed, incident-specific information regarding hazing violations where a recognized/registered student organization (RSO) has been found responsible.

The CHTR includes:

  • The name of the RSO involved.
  • A description of the violation (including alcohol/drug involvement).
  • The institution’s findings and sanctions imposed.
  • Key dates: Incident date, investigation start/end, and notification date.

Reporting Timeline

The first CHTR will be published by December 23, 2025, covering incidents from July 1, 2025, onward.

Reports are published twice annually when a finding of a hazing violation has occurred.

Hazing Violations | 2025-2026

Current Status: No violations to report for the current period.

Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report (ASFR)

In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, our institution annually publishes an Annual Security & Fire Safety Report (ASFR) by October 1st.

Beginning with the October 1, 2026 report, the ASFR will include specific, aggregated data on hazing incidents reported to Campus Security Authorities (CSAs) or local police agencies that occurred within the institution’s Clery geography. This provides a standardized overview of hazing trends for prospective students and their families.
