CMN IS ASSIGNED TO AN ACCREDITATION STANDARD PATHWAY 10 YEAR CYCLE

Reaffirmation of Accreditation Year 4 (2020-21) of the 10 year cycle

The College of the Muscogee Nation completed the process for Initial Accreditation by submitting its Assurance Argument to the Higher Learning Commission, completing a site visit, and Institutional Actions Council hearing. Based on successful completion of these requirements, the HLC Board of Trustees voted to grant CMN Accreditation on November 3, 2016. With this decision, CMN enters its first year of the Standard Pathway cycle.

The process for reaffirmation of accreditation includes a comprehensive evaluation in year four of the ten year cycle. In 2020-21, the college will host its first review for reaffirmation of accreditation. Accreditation for CMN validates the quality of its academic programs, faculty qualifications, and institutional operations, and signals that programs meet widely accepted educational criteria.
