Library

The on-campus library is a vital part of CMN’s instructional program. The library provides access to books, periodicals, electronic databases, local newspapers, audiovisual materials, and a Native American collection for students, staff, faculty, and tribal members. The College of the Muscogee Nation’s holdings can be accessed through the CMN Library Catalog. The Library is also able to provide interlibrary loan services for current students.

In addition, the librarian is available to assist with research, utilizing citation styles, avoiding plagiarism, as well as providing information literacy instruction. Quiet study rooms, 24 computers, a scanner, a catalog, and a printer/copier are available in the library.

All eligible students, faculty, and staff of any OK-Share institution may use the collections of any OK-Share library. Once a patron completes an OK-Share card application at their home academic library, they will get an OK-Share card. Then they can be given a courtesy lending card from any OK-Share library. This courtesy card, with proper identification, may be used to borrow materials from any participating OK-Share lending libraries. Note: Individuals known to have outstanding charges or fines at any lending library may be denied the right to participate in the OK-Share program.

Detailed library policies are available in the CMN Library Handbook.

In conjunction with the Oklahoma State Department of Libraries’ Digital Prairie Project, CMN students have access to WorldCat. For assistance contact the Librarian.
