AIHEC Student Conference 2023
The AIHEC Student Conference was held in Albuquerque, NM on March 4-7. The College of the Muscogee Nation took twenty-four students and competing in over twenty events. The conference included daily keynote speakers from Tribal College Presidents and Native American entertainers. The conference is primarily a means for friendly competition between all of the Tribal Colleges and Universities from across the country. The competitions included knowledge bowl, archery, chess, 5K run, hand games, art, science bowl, research posters, and various other academic and physical events.
The CMN faculty and staff in attendance were President, Monte Randall, faculty members Cheryl Najera, Colton Wood, Mathew Yates, Craig Barnes, and staff members John Brown, Linette Factor, Taryn Morgan, and Thomas Berryhill.
