We at the College of the Muscogee Nation understand the importance of Toknawa Vnickv (Financial Aid) for many students to ensure academic success. Financial Aid staff is available at the College of the Muscogee Nation to assist you with questions you may have.

Application Process for Financial Aid
Students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for our office to be able to determine what types and amounts of financial aid a student may be eligible to receive. Completion of the FAFSA will determine eligibility for all Federal and state grants, as well as Federal Work-Study, FSEOG, and certain Tribal funds.

The CMN Financial Aid & Scholarships office does not require an institutional aid application.

You can complete your FAFSA by going to the FAFSA websiteJANUARY 15TH IS THE FAFSA PRIORITY FILING DEADLINE FOR OKLAHOMA, and CMN’s school code is 042249. Early application is recommended and you must apply at least once each academic year (fall, spring, summer). The 2021-2022 academic year’s FAFSA is available starting October 1, 2020.

Loan Programs
College of the Muscogee Nation Board of Regents has determined that CMN WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE WILLIAM D FORD DIRECT LOAN PROGRAM.
College of the Muscogee Nation does not participate in any Alternative Loan programs. We discourage students from borrowing loans and do not market them in any way. We do not have a preferred lender list or any preferred lender arrangements.

Borrowing Student Loans is discouraged at the College of the Muscogee Nation. However, we recognize that in some situations this is necessary. Please see the Financial Aid Coordinator at the College of the Muscogee Nation to further discuss the risks of borrowing student loans.
