ENROLLMENT
Before the start of each trimester, students will need to schedule a visit with their advisor to set a class schedule. Students may use the upcoming trimester class schedule to see what their weekly schedule might look like.
DEGREE CHECK
The registration office is responsible for the issuance of diplomas from the College of the Muscogee Nation. If you feel that you are close to graduating, you may fill out a CMN Degree Check Request. This form will need to be completed the trimester before your expected graduation. A degree check will confirm courses successfully completed toward graduation and show any outstanding courses(s) and/or degree requirements yet to be completed. You may also check your degree progress through the student portal under “My Academics”.
GRADUATION
The minimum number of hours for graduation is 60 successfully completed credit hours (see individual degree requirements), excluding physical education activity, and preparatory or remedial courses (“0-level”). Students must meet all degree requirements for graduation, including but not limited to the following, before degrees are conferred:
- Students must have a minimum of 30 credit hours earned through CMN. (No more than one-half (50%) of any degree can be earned outside of CMN or transferred into CMN.)
- At least 15 of the 30 credit hours must be satisfactorily completed in residence at CMN.
- The last 15 credit hours of any degree program must be completed in residence at CMN
- The minimum grade point average is 2.0 for graduation.
- All other degree requirement must be met.
- Students may not participate in graduation more than once for the same degree.
Once you have determined that you are ready to graduate, you will need to fill out a Request to Graduate form.
Currently College of the Muscogee Nation holds one graduation ceremony during the spring of each academic year. If you will be graduating the fall before or the summer after, we encourage you to be a part of the spring commencement ceremony, however, it is not required to receive your diploma. Diplomas will be ready for pick-up or mailing 6 weeks after the conclusion of your graduating semester.
