Students with a documented disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 are eligible to receive reasonable accommodation and disability-related services. Under the law, a person has a disability if he or she has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities (walking, standing, seeing, speaking, hearing, sitting, breathing, taking care of oneself). Students are responsible for providing the College of the Muscogee Nation with appropriate documentation of their disability. Students with disabilities are also encouraged to contact the Academic Dean to receive reasonable accommodation.
