Dr. Monte Randall, President of the College of the Muscogee Nation
Estonko. (Greetings) from the College of the Muscogee Nation (CMN). Our mission is to serve as the institution of higher education for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation emphasizing native culture, values, language, and self-determination. The CMN campus is located in the heart of the Muscogee Reservation and minutes from the capital complex. Our Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degrees offer theoretical and practical learning that facilitates career opportunities in tribal and non-tribal organizations. Each year in support of our mission, CMN continues to advance our goals of expanding student services/scholarships, capital improvements, faculty development, and Mvskoke language revitalization.
Our beautiful 37-acre campus houses the Education/Administration, Student Center, Natural Resources, and Cultural Arts facilities, which features an array of Muscogee designs, state of the art classrooms, and student commons areas. The CMN campus also includes science labs, library, bookstore, fitness center, cafeteria, tutoring lab, and Student Success Center. Student housing features 21 two-bedroom units, accommodating 84 students, which includes furnishings, cable, and internet. Construction for a STEM/Lecture Hall will be complete in 2024.
Our primary focus is to support Muscogee (Creek) and other members of federally recognized tribes as students in their higher education endeavor with appropriate services and scholarships. The college will provide a positive learning environment with contributions to our capital improvement campaign to develop the CMN campus as a monument to our ancestors. We strive to maintain exemplary academic programs and instructional quality by encouraging faculty development and retaining qualified tribal citizens on staff. Through visionary leadership, CMN is developing groundbreaking methods and leading the nation with our efforts to revitalize the Mvskoke language.
Education has always been a significant part of our history and continues as a priority for Muscogee people today. This is a very exciting time on campus as we develop new facilities and increase our student services. Our focus will always remain on serving every student. On behalf of the CMN Faculty, Staff, and Board of Regents, we appreciate your gift to support the College of the Muscogee Nation. The Legacy Giving Program was established to facilitate our donation requests to meet these goals.
Mvto! (Thank You!),
