To be eligible for general admission, the student must provide the following:

• Complete application
• Enrollment agreement
• Official high school transcript from an accredited high school (or)
• GED, HiSET, TASC, state-sanctioned test or diploma-equivalency certificate recipient: must submit official scores, high school class of peers must have graduated (refer to high school equivalency section) (or)
• Individuals who study at the secondary level, as defined by state law, must submit a high school transcript, and their high school class of peers must have graduated. Non-recognized accredited or unaccredited high schools: these students may or may not be eligible for Title IV, HEA Funds, state aid, or institutional scholarships,
• Non-high school graduates are not eligible for Title IV, HEA funds, or state aid and may not be eligible for institutional scholarships. Their high school class of peers must have graduated.
• Proof of academic proficiency as explained under academic proficiency
• Official college transcripts from each college attended (if applicable)
• Vaccination records
• Copy of legal identification (driver’s license, social security card, or birth certificate and photo ID)
• Copy of tribal verification (if applicable)

• Identification Driver’s License, State ID, Birth Certificate, or Social Security Card
• Official High School or GED Transcript All transcripts must be official from the issuing school and sent directly to Admissions office.
• Test Scores (ACT, Pre-ACT, SAT, PSAT) If you have taken a placement test such as the ACT or SAT, please electronically send us an official copy of your scores if not listed on your High School transcript. Depending on your scores and transcripts, you might be required to take an assessment test. An admissions representative will notify you of additional testing is required.
• College transcript(s), (if applicable) Official college transcripts from each college attended. All transcripts must be official from the issuing school and sent directly to the Admissions office.
• Vaccination Records Oklahoma state law requires that all new students attending Oklahoma colleges and universities for the first time provide proof of immunization for:
  • Two Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR)
  • Three Hepatitis B
  • Meningitis (housing residents only)

These can be obtained through your High School or your local Health Department. Exemptions can be obtained through the Admissions Office.

• Tribal Verification, (if applicable) Proof of membership of a federally recognized tribe

• To complete your application, you will need to have the following information:
  • current / permanent address
  • social security number
  • academic history (previous high school and college if applicable
• Application takes less than 10 minutes to complete
• Application does not save information if you are not able to complete in one setting
• If returning students, please apply using the name you used previously
• After submitting you application you may upload your identification

CMN students must demonstrate academic proficiency before enrollment in a given subject area. Academic proficiency determines one’s eligibility to enroll in specific courses or placement in remedial classes during a student’s first trimester of enrollment. Cultural enrichment certificates and relevant courses may be excluded from this requirement.

Students must prove academic proficiency in one of four ways:

• Transferring credits that prove academic proficiency in a subject area; or
• Submitting an ACT score of 19 or better in each subject area, or an SAT score of 330 in Reading and Writing and 510 in Math, or a similar acceptable battery of tests or
• Completing Assessment Testing. See the Testing Center for details.
• Additional academic information (multiple measures) may be considered, including but not limited to high school transcript, career goals, or CMN faculty-developed proficiency test. For more details, see your Academic Advisor.  Multiple measures can be used at the advisor’s discretion if course enrollment requirements are unmet due to unforeseen circumstances.

Students who do not meet the above requirements may be required to take remedial courses to remove their deficiencies.
